The Belmont Shooting Complex hosted the Clay Target, Full Bore, Pistol and Small Bore shooting events for Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018). The Centre received a $17 million upgrade to meet international competition requirements. This included the overlay requirements for the GC2018, and legacy facilities and infrastructure.
RCP assessed and evaluated tender and contract programmes for the Complex, provided monthly status updates and assessed extension of time claims.
The project was completed in April 2017, achieving the key timing requirement for all GC2018 facilities to be complete one year out from the games.
