Galileo Group appointed Resource Co-ordination Partnership (RCP) in September 2012 to provide project management and programming services for the $53 million twin-tower Arena Residential Apartment development located in South Brisbane.
Led by Project Manager, Paul Palenkas, RCP continuously sought opportunities to achieve programme improvements and reduced cost outcomes, carefully managing contractors and seeking alternative solutions where possible to ensure variations were minimal. Paul’s hands on approach and proactive involvement both on site and with adjoining building owners ensured trust was developed and issues were addressed prior to them escalating.
RCP’s commencement of the defects and handover process seven months ahead of completion played a significant role in ensuring project completion five and a half weeks ahead of the contracted date of 27th December 2014, enabling tenants to move in prior to Christmas.
I congratulate Paul and the RCP team for their professional approach and outstanding commitment to this project. Paul’s attention to detail and fastidious management of the defects rectification process was terrific, and we at Galileo are all extremely impressed with the quality of service he provided. The job ran exceptionally well due in no small way to Paul’s hard work.
