RCP Australia appoints Board Advisor

RCP Australia has appointed Peter Hyland as a Board Advisor effective from 1 July 2024.

Peter is an internationally experienced advisor on business strategy, urban planning and development and urban economics.

RCP Managing Director, Greg Atkinson said, “Peter is a highly experienced property professional, Board Member and Certified Chair of Advisory Boards. I am confident that Peter is well suited to work with the directors in all areas of business strategy.”

Peter was the founder of Urbis in Queensland nearly 25 years ago and a senior Board Member of Urbis as it grew nationally into the largest firm of its disciplines in Australia. In 2016 he moved to Singapore to establish the international business of Urbis. Since returning to Brisbane in 2021, Peter has remained actively involved in the property industry, with other formal board member and advisory engagements in addition to his role with RCP.

Peter’s experience spans across Australia, Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East which has seen him lead many projects with highly successful outcomes. This includes the Greater Springfield new city development in Queensland, which was recognised as the world’s best master planned community by FIABCI, the International Real Estate Federation, in 2010.

RCP is pleased to have Peter’s guidance as the business moves forward in its next phase.
