In July 2014, Practical Completion of the Design and Construct contract for the redevelopment of the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre was issued by Resource Co-ordination Partnership (RCP), bringing a successful conclusion to the 28 month, multi-staged, $350 million retail project.
This followed the appointment of RCP by Eureka Funds Management (EFM) in November 2010 to provide Project Management and Programming services for the project.
The RCP project team understood the expectations of EFM in the successful delivery of the centre. RCP understands the particular requirements of undertaking construction works within and operating retail environment and proactively and collaborative work with all stakeholders to minimise the impact to the centre, retailers and customers, whilst managing and administering the Design and Construct contract professionally.
RCP continued to seek opportunities to achieve programme improvements, re-sequencing and cost outcomes to meet EFM’s project objectives and critical retailer and stage handovers.
The unveiling of the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre redevelopment has received critical acclaim and I congratulate the RCP project team for the significant contribution to this successful outcome.
