The RCP project programming and scheduling process begins by breaking the project into individual phases and analysing the requirements of each phase into manageable tasks. We then quantify and resource each task, setting achievable target dates. By identifying all important decisions, restraints and critical paths, we can assess alternative construction techniques and design options which are more time efficient.
We help to identify problems early, allowing strategies to be developed to mitigate the effects of delays by liaising with the project team to produce alternate design solutions, resourcing strategies or rescheduling options.
Our team monitor programmes regularly, alerting the project team to potential problems. We evaluate time delays and confirm contract compliance. If the project team needs to take remedial action, we create new target dates and strategies to bring the project back on schedule.
To anticipate adverse project impacts we look at both short term and long term issues. Throughout the project, we communicate current program information to the project team and key stakeholders so they can focus effort and resources on the critical activities.
