Located in Waterfront Place Brisbane, the initial fit-out works for PricewaterhouseCoopers included a total new fit-out on Level 20 and refit of half of Level 17. The work included new meeting rooms with full data facilities, a video conferencing room, training rooms, a multi-purpose room complete with Audio Visual Systems and the installation of a commercial quality kitchen. RCP’s services include establishment of the project brief, selection of design consultants, design management, approvals management, procurement advice, tender management, contract administration including project reporting and defect rectification management.
The complexities of the project’s requirement to be staged in order to allow for continual occupation by PricewaterhouseCoopers, required that detailed consideration was given to the planning of the design and the programming of the construction works. RCP’s project management and project programming strategies were applied through both the design stage and construction administration of the construction contract to ensure that PricewaterhouseCoopers continued day to day operations during the construction works.
