Construction of a multi-purpose stadium with a capacity of 52,000 including retractable seating able to be configured for rectangular pitch sports and underground car parking for 2000 cars.
Members of RCP were involved in the development of the detailed function requirements for this project particularly with respect to food and beverage, police and security, building and pitch maintenance, retailing, entertainment, video screen operation, television and radio broadcasting, waste management, sporting clubs and officials, goods delivery and distribution, ticketing and access control and stadium administration and marketing. Superintendence of the contract during construction and Independent Assessor on behalf of the Docklands Authority.
