5 Major Buildings
Major Formal Lake
$60m Construction Cost
Australia’s first major private university, Bond University, was completed in 1989 and opened in 1990.
The design and construction of the university’s five major buildings and Research Park, featuring cladding in Heledon sandstone, a major formal lake and extensive civil engineering and landscaping works in two years was considered to be a record in the creation of a new university.
As Project Co-ordinator, RCP’s recommendations on fast tracking the design and construction were accepted. RCP was then responsible for the programming and co-ordination of the project works to achieve the completion date.
