The Belmont Shooting Complex will host the Clay Target, Full Bore, Pistol and Small Bore shooting events for Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018). The Centre has received a $17 million upgrade to meet international competition requirements. This includes the overlay requirements for the GC2018, and Legacy facilities and infrastructure.
RCP were engaged to assess and evaluate tender and contract programmes for the Belmont Shooting Complex, provide monthly status updates and assess extension of time claims.
The project was completed in April 2017, achieving the key timing requirement for all GC2018 facilities to be complete one year out from the games.
